Douglas County Ag Exhibit

Exhibit Entries Needed !!

Looking for a way to buy some new school clothes? Wondering what all those wheat trucks are doing driving back and forth through town?

The South Douglas Conservation District is sponsoring the Douglas County Agriculture Exhibit at the NCW Fair. Open to all students in NCW, first place in each division is $100. We keep the poster for education.

The object of this exhibit is to tell the story of agriculture in North Central Washington. Theme examples could be growing, marketing, diseases and pests, harvesting, exporting, conservation practices, or anything to do with agriculture.

Your exhibit will be displayed in the Horticulture building, next to the Conservation Districts’ booth. Preparing an exhibit for the fair not only will help you learn more about agriculture, but also may net you a nice check for your school funds.

Scoring and rules are listed on page 33 of the Fair program. Or call 745-9160 for more information.
